Rana Fields specializes in financial problem solving. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Rana dedicates her veteran insight from a spectrum of services, including retirement planning, investment advice, estate planning, insurance protection, commercial insurance underwriting and more. Prior to founding Main Street Financial Advisors, Rana owned and directed a franchise of a leading financial firm and managed approximately 350 clients with over 45 million dollars of assets under management. Her familiarity with a broad range of financial products and services prove integral to the sustained success of her clients.
Throughout her esteemed career, Rana has held numerous positions within the insurance industry, such as: Vice President/Commercial Lines Underwriting Manager for CNA Insurance; Team Leader/Supervisor of the Underwriting Department for USF&G Insurance; and Property/Casualty Underwriter & Marketing Representative for Aetna Insurance. In addition to her Variable Contracts and Life, Health and Insurance licenses, Rana is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) and holds her FINRA Series 7 & 66 registrations. A graduate of Webster University with a Bachelor Degree in management with an emphasis in marketing; she is a recipient of the Million Dollar Roundtable award for the past 10 years and has also been honored with the Black Women of Distinction Award.
Rana is a member of the Kansas City Missouri Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the DEED Foundation. Active in her community, Rana is involved in various community organizations, including AT&T Community Network, The Black Family Technology Awareness Network, E-Women Network, Bow Ties & Ties, Personal Financial Education and Empowerment Ministry (PFEEM), and organizes large groups of clients and friends for volunteer events at Harvester’s Community Food Network. Rana is married to Darryl Fields and has two children, son Alex Jerome Coleman, in Heaven at the age of 21 and daughter Tiara Marcella (Fields) Harris. Outside of the office, she enjoys vacationing, spending time with family and friends, cooking and participating in sorority events and the Concord Christian Cyclists “Triple C” Motorcycle Ministry.
Qualifying membership in the MDRT is based on minimum commission and gross business generated within a year. Each MDRT status designation is granted for one year only. All members must apply every year to continue their affiliation with the Million Dollar Round Table.
